Making a big impression in his European debut, PRUSSIA MI conquered the best competition from Europe and the Middle East by winning the title of Gold Champion Yearling Colt at the Mediterranean Championships in Menton, France! This is the third successive championship for the undefeated PRUSSIA, making him the winningest yearling colt internationally in 2013 after winning Gold at both Scottsdale and the World Cup in Las Vegas.

Mulawa is pleased to report success at Australia's premier Dressage event - the CDI Sydney. The star for Team Mulawa was LUXOR 118, an 11 year old Hannoverian gelding imported from Germany. With rider Katharine Farrell aboard, LUXOR won the Horseland FEI Young Rider Individual Test (CD-Y). Brett Parberry was also hard at work at CDI Sydney with ABER HALLO 29, a nine-year old dark bay Westphalian stallion also imported from PSI. The promising pair finished a strong third in the Mulawa Performance FEI Intermediate I (CDI) and the Needs for Steeds FEI Prix St Georges competition, as well as the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle CDN.

Mulawa is proud to report success from Queensland! With a small team of youngsters, Team Mulawa returned home with both Junior Championship titles under judge Terry Holmes of the USA. MI APHRODITE (Guiliano x Audacia by Parkview Audacious) was named Champion Junior Female, while the up and coming ALYIANCE MI (Allegiance MI x DM Marcedes True Love by RHR Marcedes) was awarded the Champion Junior Male title in his show ring debut.

Congratulations to HRH Prince Abdullah bin Fahd Al Saud on the recent success of PRUSSIA MI! Not only was PRUSSIA rewarded with the highest score amongst all the Yearling Colt entries in Las Vegas with 20's for Type & Head, he was most importantly named Supreme Gold Champion Yearling Colt on Sunday morning amidst a group of exceptional colts. We are incredibly proud of PRUSSIA's success at both Scottsdale & Las Vegas. A fourth-generation Mulawa-bred Arabian, PRUSSIA represents the best of his European Triple Crown-winning sire ABHA Qatar and his beloved twice-Australian Champion dam PARADA.

The Australian Championships at Horsley Park in rural Sydney once again proved an extremely successful event for Mulawa owned, bred and exhibited horses. Both Team Halter & Performance were in top form with mutliple champiionships earned in the most prestigious purebred & derivative divisions and disciplines. The show was especillay good for the late MAGNUM FORTY FOUR, whose get and grandget excelled both in-hand and under saddle. Thank you to the outstanding staff and professionals at Mulawa for a job superbly done. Wednesday night at Scottsdale brought more good news to Team Mulawa with the win of IMPRESSA MI in the Junior Two Year Old Filly class. Together with the win for PRUSSIA MI as Scottsdale International Champion Junior Colt, Mulawa is proud of a perfect record at Scottsdale with both contenders winning their respective classes. Congratulations to the Sloan & Gunabalan Families on your success and for putting your faith in this beautiful filly. The East Coast Championships 2013 will go down in history as one of the most successful for Mulawa Team Halter & Performance. Right on track with a super successful season, Team Mulawa Performance once again dominated in the under saddle classes. Team Halter finished with their best East Coast results ever, with spectacular wins for KAVALLE MI, KLASSICAL DREAM MI, VALENTINO'S ANGEL MI & KONQUEST MI. The descendants of MAGNUM FORTY FOUR have been especially successful at this year's East Coast Championships, a fitting tribute to the lasting legacy of the recently deceased Mulawa chief sire.

The National Stud Show at the Sydney International Equestrain Center was once again the setting for success for the Mulawa Performance team.This season our elite team consists of a number of young up & coming super stars of the future. We hope to carry this success on into 2013 with the East Coast & Australian National Championships.

The National Stud Show, hosted at the world class venue of the Sydney International Equestrian Centre, once again proved an unqualified success for Team Mulawa - Halter and Performance. Mulawa is proud to announce the successful sales of several horses during and shortly after the annual Open Day. Several aspiring stars sold to long-time local supporters, while two outstanding young colts, TRUST MI and KATAR MI, sold to South Australia and Victoria, respectively. Good news from NSW State Titles over the weekend. APHRODITE MI was named Junior Champion Mare in her show debut, while SANTIAGO MI earned the title of Reserve Champion Junior Stallion. KLASS continued his winning ways as a sire with Junior Champion Gelding MYSTERE MI. Congratulations to the proud owners and exhibitors on a great start to the show season. We look forward to your continued success at Nationals and beyond.

The recent shows in Queensland proved successful for Mulawa with the next generation of show stars amongst the competition. In her debut, PRAVIA MI was awarded the Junior Filly Championship at the prestigious Queensland Challenge. At both the Queensland Challenge and the Gala Event under international judges Dick Adams and Mickey Hegg, respectively, MULAWA ASPIRING (Magnum Forty Four x Jiah Aspire by GLF Apollo) was named Reserve Senior Champion Mare.

For the second year in a row, Team Mulawa Performance was victorious at Dressage with the Stars, the 10th annual event in Werribee, Victoria. In the toughest competition for young Dressage horses on the continent, Arabian Warmblood mare SUGARLOAF SIRHARA was named Champion Five Year Old with an excellent score of 9.0 for Ridability from UK-based and South African born Emile Faurie. SIRARA was also the highest scoring Dressage horse of the show with an excellent score of 82.4%. On Saturday evening competing against both the champion four and six year olds from their respective divisions, SIRHARA was named Australian Young Dressage Horse Champion of Champions to the thundering approval of the crowd.

The Australian Championships have once again proven an outstanding showcase for Mulawa owned, bred and shown horses. Friday proved especially successful for GUILIANO, whose first foals dominated the Yearling classes, earning all three Australian Championship titles. ROMANCE MI earned herself back-to-back Australian Champiosnships with a win as Two & Three Year Old Filly Champion. Katharine Farrell & German-import LUXOR were dominant in the Dressage ring, winning both the Advanced Dressage test and the Prix St Georges. PARADA (with Cameron Bonney) was victorious as Australian Champion Mare. GUILIANO (with Andy Sellman) finished the year undefeated as Australian Champion Stallion and highest score of the show.

Mulawa was the recipient of two major awards on Tuesday night at the Arabian Horse Society of Australia AGM at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre. For the fourth year in a row, Mulawa was named Purebred Breeder of the Year for wins earned at the 2011 Australian Championships. 2011 AHSA Purebred Saddle Horse of the Year was MULAWA BRONZE WINGS, who earned three Australian Championships, two Reserves and one Top Ten at Tamworth with Daniella Dierks.

The 25th Anniversary of the prestigious East Coast Championships turned out to be a celebratory event for Mulawa Arabian Stud. Under internationally respected judge Joseph Polo from the United States, Mulawa achieved six championships in the breeding classes, including all three yearling titles - Filly, Colt & Gelding, and the Two Year Old Colt title, as well as the Senior titles for both Mares & Stallions Five Years of Age & Over.

Despite the gloomy weather and steady drizzle on the first day of the 2011 National Stud Show at Horsley Park, the results for the Mulawa halter team were outstanding. With representatives in five of the six junior purebred championships, Team Mulawa was awarded four championship titles and two reserves. Mulawa Team Performance was equally successful in their debut. The ever talented team of MULAWA BRONZE WINGS & Daniella Dierks were victorious in the Jess Greenlagh Memorial Sash. Congratulations on a stellar start to the show season.

Bookending an outstanding year of success in North America, the Mulawa-bred and owned *ALWAYS VALENTINE MI (DA Valentino x Always An Angel by SK Shakla Khan) was named 2011 US National Reserve Champion Two Year Old Filly in Tulsa on Tuesday night, October 25th. A sixth-generation Mulawa-bred female, *ALWAYS VALENTINE is a member of the beloved and highly accomplished M ANGELIQUE family. Shown just four times in 2011, *ALWAYS VALENTINE was rewarded with six major titles at four of the most prestigious shows on the continent. At her debut in February, she was named Scottsdale First Place Junior Two Year Old Filly, as well as overall Scottsdale Reserve Junior Champion Filly.

A huge congratulations is in order for Katharine Farrell and recent PSI import LUXOR. Amongst incredibly strong competition, Kate and LUXOR were named Advanced Dressage Champion at the 2011 NSW Young Riders Championships. In addition to these individual achievements, their combined win and impressive scores contributed to Champion Team honours being earned by New South Wales.
