Congratulations to VALENTINO'S ANGEL MI - Arabian Breeders World Cup Supreme Bronze Champion Junior Mare! In an incredibly competitive field of young females, ANGEL emerged victorious over the reigning World Champion, and just behind the reigning US National & Scottsdale International Champions. We are incredibly proud of ANGEL - a sixth generation Mulawa-bred champion! Our best wishes to HRH Prince Abdullah bin Fahad Al Saud and Al Mohamadia Stud as she continues her campaign in North America. Congratulations to MI SIRTAINLY SIR (Sir Donnerhall x Fashionista) and Kristian Akehurst! Against the toughest competition in the country, the pair scored first in both rounds with scores of 8.42 and 8.64 respectively to win the Four Year Old Young Horse Championships at PSI Dressage with the Stars in Victoria. Another Mulawa winner at this year's event was MR FANTASTIC (Gold-N-Wings x Lac-La-Biche Carousel), winner of the Consolation Round for Five Year Old Dressage Ponies ridden by Annette Lowe. Congratulations to both Kristian & Annette on your debut success at Australia's most important Dressage event for young horses.

The 2014 Australian National Championships are underway in Sydney! Day 1 returned excellent results for Mulawa-bred and owned horses, including Champion honours for FAMES PHANTOM MI in Arabian Gelding Under Saddle. Eight descendants of the late great MAGNUM FORTY FOUR earned National titles on Thursday. In the gelding competition on Thursday morning, Mulwa-bred horses won all three championships for new owners, including unanimous wins for both KRUSADE MI & ASTOR. Mulawa supersire KLASS achieved a clean sweep with his offspring - all five shown were named Australian Champion. Full brothers MAXIMILLIANO & MAXIMISE MI were named Champion & Reserve Champion Junior Colt, respectively and unprecedentedly.

Exciting news from the annual Equestrain NSW Awards Ceremony! The highest honour of the night was ABER HALLO 29 winning the award for Dressage Horse of the Year. Along with ABER HALLO's prestigious award, Julie, Katharine & Jane Farrell were honoured as Equestrian NSW Dressage Owners of the Year. With high calibre performance horses such as ABER HALLO 29, LUXOR 118 and FURSTIN FRIENDSHIP competing with Brett on their behalf, Julie, Jane & Katharine have been regulars at Dressage events across the state this past season.

Inspiring news from Scottsdale! Former Scottsdale halter winner MAXIUM is now achieving success as a performer in the demanding discipline of Working Cow Horse. In his debut with rider April Canavan, MAXIUM achieved scores of 65 & 63 to qualify for and win the Scottsdale Working Cow Horse Hackamore/Snaffle Bit Championship. Now proudly owned by Francisco Rengel of Mexico, MAXIUM has achieved past success as Scottsdale International Reserve Champion Two Year Old Colt with Andrew Sellman. MAXIUM is showing great promise as a working western horse with natural talent and a willing highly trainable attitude. A special thank you to Sandro Pinha and Pam Donnelly for connecting MAXIUM with his new owner and trainer.

More exciting news from Scottsdale! In his North American debut with Andrew Sellman, KAVALLE MI scored a unanimous win - first on all three judges cards - in an excellent class of Three Year Old Colts at the Scottsdale All Arabian Horse Show. At his absolute magnetic best, KAVALLE thrilled the crowd with a dynamic entrance and a perfect stand-up in front of the judging panel. Congratulations to Joanne & Ram Gunabalan on yet another tremendous success at Scottsdale with Mulawa-bred horses! Thank you to Andrew Sellman and the entire Argent Farms Team for believing in KAVALLE and for letting him shine on the world's biggest and most important stage. Congratulations to VALENTINO'S ANGEL MI on her North American debut at Scottsdale! Finishing a strong third in the extremely competitive class for Three Year Old Fillies with Andrew Sellman at the lead, ANGEL finished first on Judge Shannon Amstrong's card. A former unanimous Australian National Champion, East Coast Champion & National Stud Show Champion in Australia, ANGEL was awarded the highest score from amongst all the junior filly entries at the All Nations Cup in Aachen, while on her way to earn the title of Bronze Junior Champion Mare. Exciting news from Scottsdale! On Saturday afternoon, IMPRESSA MI made her debut in the international section of the Scottsdale All Arabian Horse Show, winning her section of the class for Three & Year Old Mares. In the championship as the youngest mare in the competition, IMPRESSA emerged the victor as 2014 Scottsdale International Gold Champion Senior Mare. The 2014 East Coast Championships proved another major success for Team Mulawa. Team Halter emerged victorious with eight East Coast Champions, including a fourth successive win for KLASSICAL DREAM MI and new owner HRH Prince Khaled bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Al Khalediah Stables (KSA). Team Performance had an excellent two days at the East Coast Championships with ARTISTRY MI leading the way as Arabian Under Saddle Champion of Champions & the East Coast Cup Winner.

Great news from Saudi Arabia! In his Middle Eastern show debut, PRUSSIA MI emerged victorious in the class for Two Year Old Colts at the Prince Sultan Abdulaziz International Arabian Horse Festival. With a excellent score of 92.0, PRUSSIA was awarded the highest score from amongst all the colt entries. On Friday afternoon, PRUSSIA earned yet another title in his stellar career - Silver Champion Junior Colt! Congratulations to HRH Prince Abdullah bin Fahad Al Saud and Al Mohamadia Stud on your continued success with PRUSSIA MI.

Mulawa is once again proud to report significant success at the National Stud Show in Sydney, held from 14-17 November at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre. Both Teams Performance & Halter returned home with major titles earned in the toughest competition from around the country. Team Performance can be especially proud of wins in the Ridden divisions for both Arabians and Warmbloods. Team Halter returned once again with a clean sweep of Ambition Legacy Awards for all three champion yearlings.

Wonderful news from Tulsa! Reigning Canadian National Champion IMPRESSA MI was named United States National Reserve Champion in an outstanding group of Two Year Old Fillies. Finishing just one point behind the champion when the final scores were tallied, IMPRESSA was the last filly to show as the youngest competitor with a September birth date. With Andrew Sellman on the lead, IMPRESSA was at her best at the US Nationals, improving in confidence and presence with each show. Congratulations to the Gunabalan Family on all of our success with IMPRESSA.

Exciting news from Aachen! In their All Nations Cup debut, both PRUSSIA MI & VALENTINO’S ANGEL MI, did both owner and breeders incredibly proud. PRUSSIA was awarded the Yearling Colt Silver Champion title, while VALENTINO’S ANGEL earned the Bronze Junior Champion Female. We are incredibly proud of both of these young horses and their success at the most important annual international showcase of Arabian breeding horses at the All Nations Cup. Mulawa is happy to report successful results from the New South Wales State Titles Show on Sunday 7th September. With winners in four classes for junior fillies, colts & geldings, Mulawa is pleased to report a clean sweep in the Junior Championships. As a breeder, it is always incredibly rewarding to celebrate the success of the most important foundation families with those individuals recently imported to enhance the program with new blood. Congratulations to all the winners and to Team Mulawa Halter on a great start to the spring show season.

Just this week in Brandon, Manitoba, IMPRESSA was named Canadian National Champion Two Year Old Filly, scoring first on 4 of the 5 judges' cards. This success at the Canadian Nationals was a first for Mulawa. We are incredibly proud of her achievement thus far in North America and thrilled that she has been a star for her new owners. Great news from Minnesota! IMPRESSA MI , the most successful imported daughter of multi-National Champion and twice Scottsdale Supreme Champion ARIA IMPRESARIO, was recently named Region 10 Champion Two Year Old Filly. A third generation Mulawa-bred female, IMPRESSA is a direct descendant of US import LM MAGICS GIFT, a Pure Polish daughter of US National Champion and legendary sire ALADDINN. All three generations of Mulawa-bred females have earned championship honours for this family, with IMPRESSA's wins in the United States and wins for her dam, MULAWA ALEXA, and granddam, PERCEPTION, in Australia. Australian Champion AAMAHNI graces the most recent cover of the Arabian Horse News, an honour earned for his unprecedented victory in March. Bred, owned and shown by Cameron Bonney, AAMAHNI is a twice Australian Champion Stallion (both Junior & Senior) as well as East Coast Champion. Breeder & owner credit is also due Evelien Bonney, the matriarch of Parkview Arabians. Parkview began nearly 20 years ago with the acquisition of ALIHA BINT NIZR, who was shown to Australian Champion by a very young and enthusiastic Cameron.
