Mulawa is proud to report success from Queensland! With a small team of youngsters, Team Mulawa returned home with both Junior Championship titles under judge Terry Holmes of the USA. MI APHRODITE (Guiliano x Audacia by Parkview Audacious) was named Champion Junior Female, while the up and coming ALYIANCE MI (Allegiance MI x DM Marcedes True Love by RHR Marcedes) was awarded the Champion Junior Male title in his show ring debut.

Congratulations to HRH Prince Abdullah bin Fahd Al Saud on the recent success of PRUSSIA MI! Not only was PRUSSIA rewarded with the highest score amongst all the Yearling Colt entries in Las Vegas with 20's for Type & Head, he was most importantly named Supreme Gold Champion Yearling Colt on Sunday morning amidst a group of exceptional colts. We are incredibly proud of PRUSSIA's success at both Scottsdale & Las Vegas. A fourth-generation Mulawa-bred Arabian, PRUSSIA represents the best of his European Triple Crown-winning sire ABHA Qatar and his beloved twice-Australian Champion dam PARADA.

The Australian Championships at Horsley Park in rural Sydney once again proved an extremely successful event for Mulawa owned, bred and exhibited horses. Both Team Halter & Performance were in top form with mutliple champiionships earned in the most prestigious purebred & derivative divisions and disciplines. The show was especillay good for the late MAGNUM FORTY FOUR, whose get and grandget excelled both in-hand and under saddle. Thank you to the outstanding staff and professionals at Mulawa for a job superbly done. Congratulations to all the owners and exhibitors of Mulawa-bred horses who achieved Australian Championship success in 2013. We are extremely proud of you!

Wednesday night at Scottsdale brought more good news to Team Mulawa with the win of IMPRESSA MI in the Junior Two Year Old Filly class. Together with the win for PRUSSIA MI as Scottsdale International Champion Junior Colt, Mulawa is proud of a perfect record at Scottsdale with both contenders winning their respective classes. Congratulations to the Sloan & Gunabalan Families on your success and for putting your faith in this beautiful filly. On Saturday afternoon, PRUSSIA MI won the senior section of Yearling Colts in the Scottsdale International classes. The East Coast Championships 2013 will go down in history as one of the most successful for Mulawa Team Halter & Performance. Right on track with a super successful season, Team Mulawa Performance once again dominated in the under saddle classes. Team Halter finished with their best East Coast results ever, with spectacular wins for KAVALLE MI, KLASSICAL DREAM MI, VALENTINO'S ANGEL MI & KONQUEST MI. The descendants of MAGNUM FORTY FOUR have been especially successful at this year's East Coast Championships, a fitting tribute to the lasting legacy of the recently deceased Mulawa chief sire.

It is with great sadness that we share the news on the passing of one of the most beloved members of our equine family - ADVENT. The gelding son of Mulawa foundation horses AMBITION and EUNI, ADVENT was a full brother to the late Mulawa sire ARRIVAL. Just shy of 28 years of age, ADVENT had served for the past 23 years of his happy existence as the personal mount of Greg Farrell. We thank you for being a truly wonderful horse and superb ambassador for your breed. Goodbye friend...

It is with great sadness that we share the tragic news of the premature passing of Mulawa chief sire MAGNUM FORTY FOUR. His time with all of us was far too short. For those of us who had the privilege to know him or to be touched by his influence, our lives have been unquestionably changed for the better. You will always be loved and remembered with great fondness and esteem. Rest well and in peace, dear friend.

The final foal of the 2012-2013 season was born this morning, January 18th Aussie time, or better said, Alabama time. We are proud to report it is yet another filly, this time a stunning bay out of former Scottsdale Champion LLC BRIANA, sired by Mulawa junior stallion ALLEGIANCE MI. Thus far, both BRIANA and ALLEGIANCE have emerged as the superstars of the current Mulawa foal crop. Together, the pair produced three superb fillies via embryo transfer, all within five weeks of each other and all a different colour!

The 2012-2013 foaling season is well underway with several outstanding foals already on the ground. Since August, each month has been full of promising colts and fillies that have both met and exceeded expectations on every level. The first foals of young Mulawa chief sire KONFIDENCE MI are thus far proving their sire a worthy successor to KLASS. Tall, correct and well balanced with impressive scope and athleticism, the KONFIDENCE foals all typify the excellence of their sire. KLASS continues to defy the odds by siring world-class foals with uncommon consistency. The superstar of the foal crop thus far is the first filly out of twice National Stud Show Champion Mare MAE MARIE. Several more foals are due in early 2013.
