Endurance & Racing
The long-distance competition of endurance is an equine sport in which the Arabian breed excels. Starting at competitive distances of 20 & 40km, to the elite 160km challenges of the FEI World Equestrian Games & the Tom Quilty Gold Cup, and the awe-inspiring challenge of the 400km/5-day Shahzada Memorial, endurance remains one of the toughest, most challenging and most rewarding equine sports around the globe. Recognized by FEI as an Olympic sport and one of the seven elite disciplines included in the quadrennial World Equestrian Games, Endurance continues to gain respect and recognition at every level of equine competition, providing an ideal showcase for the inherent talent and ancient ability of the desert horse.
Recognized as the original racehorse, the Arabian horse has influenced every major racing light horse breed on the planet, including the elite of the racing world: the Thoroughbred and the Quarterhorse. Arabian racing is held in high esteem at the major racecourses in Europe, the Middle East & North America, while gaining prestige here in Australia thanks to the generous support from the Arabian Gulf. Bred to excel in the varied disciplines of equine support, Mulawa-bred Arabians continue to achieve consistently in competitive racing at all distances and at every level.
Mulawa is incredibly proud of the achievements in endurance and racing for several generations of Farrell Family-bred horses. If you have any news to share about your Mulawa-bred or Mulawa-related horses competing in Endurance or Racing, please Contact Us with your news & results!
