US National Success - *ALWAYS VALENTINE MI

Bookending an outstanding year of success in North America, the Mulawa-bred and owned *ALWAYS VALENTINE MI (DA Valentino x Always An Angel by SK Shakla Khan) was named 2011 US National Reserve Champion Two Year Old Filly in Tulsa on Tuesday night, October 25th.

A sixth-generation Mulawa-bred female, *ALWAYS VALENTINE is a member of the beloved and highly accomplished M ANGELIQUE family, with contributions from former chief sires VISION, WARRANTY and FAME MAKER R in her stellar pedigree. Closer up in her pedigree, she is influenced greatly by recently deceased legends SANADIK EL SHAKLAN, SK SHAKLA KHAN and DA VALENTINO, who weaves in the legacy of FAME VF, VERSACE, BEY SHAH & PADRONS PSYCHE.

Shown just four times in 2011, *ALWAYS VALENTINE was rewarded with six major titles at four of the most prestigious shows on the continent. At her debut in February, she was named Scottsdale First Place Junior Two Year Old Filly, as well as overall Scottsdale Reserve Junior Champion Filly. This incredibly important success was quickly followed with more glory at the Arabian Breeders World Cup in Las Vegas, at which she was awarded the Reserve Champion Juior Two Year Old Filly title as well as Top Ten Supreme Junior Champion Mare. *ALWAYS VALENTINE was later a unanimous Regional Champion Two Year Old Filly at Region 13 in the summertime, before ending on a high note as United States Reserve National Champion Two Year Old Filly amongst an extremely competitive, world-class collection of fillies. With all of these impressive wins to her credit, *ALWAYS VALENTINE has become the most successful daughter of her late sire to compete in North America over the last year and undoubtedly the brightest show amabassador for Australian-bred Arabians abroad. This success is even more astounding when one considers that *ALWAYS VALENTINE has been competing the entire season as a southern hemisphere-born yearling, who only just recently turned two year of age on September 30.

This success could not have been possible without the tremendous effort of Andrew Sellman, Angie Larson and the entire team of professionals at Argent Farms. Your consummate care, attention to detail and dignified campaign of this special young mare has been first-class - thank you for making us all proud. We look forward to great things ahead...
