Mulawa Arabian Stud | Proud to Support the Arabian Performance Index (API) Register Mulawa is proud to partner with the NSW Arabian Horse Association to promote several new ventures at the premier NSWAHA shows. Starting at the National Stud Show this November, Mulawa will sponsor a new Memorial Sash Championships exclusively for API recorded horses, as well as API Young Horse Ridden classes.   National Arabian Stud Show 16 th -19 th  November 2018 Sydney International Equestrian Centre The NSWAHA will also be offering an East Coast Cup title exclusively for API recorded horses, to round out a full offering of prestigious & highly coveted East Coast Cup Championships for all competitors. Greg, Julie and Jane Farrell were surprised, delighted and honoured today to be given "life membership" to the NSW Arabian Horse Association. The honour was granted by Greg Liddle as President and the hard working committee of the NSWAHA. Greg, Julie and Jane were humbled to join Val & Ron Males and the late Gloria Lanigan as Life Members of the Association. Our love, passion, commitment and dedication remains forever strong to the most beautiful, versatile and integral breed of all - the Arabian. Our sincere thanks to all involved.

20 September 1981 – 04 September 2017 It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of a true Aussie Superstar - the wondrous APPLAUSE, who moved on to greener pastures yesterday at the grand age of thirty-six. As the last living son of Mulawa Foundation Sire AMBITION, the passing of APPLAUSE marks the closing of the final chapter of the earliest days of the Mulawa programme, which began over four decades ago with imports from the UK & the USA. Remembered fondly alongside three-quarter brother MULAWA THE QUEST, these two legendary sons of AMBITION did more to affirm the positive reputation of both Mulawa and the Polish Arabian in the performance arena than any pair of athletes in Australia.

VENICE MI October 2015 Chestnut Filly  (Allegiance MI x Valentine MI by DA Valentino) Fifth-Generation Mulawa-Bred International Champion  Member of the VALENTINE MI Family UK International Silver Champion Junior Filly 1st Place - 2 Year Old Fillies VENICE made her international debut over the weekend for new owner Al Muawd Stud at the UK International. With Rhodri Jones at the lead, VENICE scored higher than all the other junior fillies, and ahead of all the other filly/mare competition with the exception of the Senior Champion Mare. We are incredibly proud of VENICE on her first outing overseas, and look forward to more success for her & Al Muawd.

Congratulations to Debbie Pevy & GALAXY MI. After finishing as the Best Conditioned & Best Managed Horse in 2016, the pair upgraded their success with the win in the Middleweight division! GALAXY MI Shahzada Memorial Ride 2017 Winner | Middleweight Division Finish Time: 40:19:00 The Shahzada Memorial Ride is the ultimate test for horse and rider of 400km over five days up and down the beautiful mountains surrounding the picturesque Macdonald Valley near St. Albans, north west of Sydney, NSW. Debbie & GALAXY finished the gruelling test of endurance almost 7 hours ahead of the nearest competitor in the Middleweight Division, completing the monumental 400km at an impressive 9.92km/hour. Representing four different Mulawa dam families, four internationally successful sires, a pair of full sisters and a beloved mother and daughter, the National Champion Mares of Mulawa  continue to raise the standard of excellence of the Arabian feminine ideal while dominating the entirety of the last decade in Australia. Not only has Mulawa achieved unparalleled back-to-back seven-time success in the Senior Mare division, Mulawa can also claim an additional two National Champion Senior Mares - MULAWA BEHOLD  (2003) & MULAWA EUNIQUE  (1984), seven National Champion

The essential source of all great success in any breeding program are the matrons selected as the foundation. Mulawa has been fortunate to have been blessed with several such meritorious matrons, including KARMAA , DZINA & M ANGELIQUE . All three were honoured at the 2017 Australian Arabian National Championships with Legacy Awards in each of the purebred female halter divisions. For the third time in four years, Mulawa was the proud breeder & exhibitor of all three National Championship fillies & mares. For the second successive year, Cameron Bonney was at the lead of each of the Gold National Champion purebred females, an achievement unrivalled in continental history. A fitting tribute to the
