Congratulations to Team Mulawa and the Mulawa community on the recent success at the National Stud Show in Sydney! We are incredibly proud of your achievements in all disciplines. Highlights include a clean sweep of the Yearling Championships by Mulawa-bred horses, full sibling championship wins for ALWAYS VALENTINE MI (Senior Mare) and VANGELIS MI (Yearling Colt), and Supreme Saddle Horse of the Show honours for FAMES PHANTOM MI.

Congratulations to MULAWA INSPIRED (Magnum Forty Four x Jiah Aspire by GLF Apollo)! At the 2014 Queensland Arabian Horse of the Year Show, INSPIRED emerged victorious as Champion Purebred Gelding Under Saddle. Later the same day competing against the Champions from the Purebred Stallion & Mare divisions, INSPIRED was sashed Queensland Champion Purebred Horse of the Year. Congratulations to Tahlia & Sharon, Peta & Ashleigh and to MULAWA INSPIRED on all of your well deserved success. We are incredibly proud of how the Mulawa-bred Arabians have brought joy, reward and success into the lives of so many people around the world.

Congratulations to KLASSICAL DREAM MI on her successive unanimous win! Shown last week during the prestigious Salon du Cheval in El Jadida, Morocco, KLASSICAL DREAM MI was named Gold Champion Senior Mare with full consent from all the judges! Congratulations to HRH Prince Khaled bin Sultan bi Abdul Aziz Al Saud and Al Khalediah Stables, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on this success. Best of luck with DREAM as you continue to promote her under the Al Khalediah banner! 

The best possible news from Tulsa, Oklahoma - VALENTINO'S ANGEL MI has been crowned United States National Champion Three Year Old Filly! Congratulations to HRH Prince Abdullah bin Fahd Al Saud and Al Mohamadia Stud of Saudi Arabia! A very special thank you is due to Dr. Bruce McCrea, who believed in ANGEL's potential for international success the very first time her saw her at Mulawa. We look forward to many more years of success for ANGEL yet to come...

Congratulations to Joanne & Ram Gunabalan and KAVALLE MI! At the United States National Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma, KAVALLE earned the title of US National Reserve Champion Three Year Old Stallion amongst strong competition from around the world. A special thank you to Andrew Sellman and the entire Argent Farms Team for caring for, promoting and presenting KAVALLE with the utmost respect and attention to detail. Thank you Ram & Joanne for believing in KAVALLE and for providing him the best opportunity to succeed.

Mulawa is proud to announce that the annual Open Day celebration will now be conducted under a new name: the Mulawa Symposium. Held over two days at the Berrilee location in rural Sydney, the information-rich event entitled "LET'S TALK HORSES" is designed to provide Australians with cutting-edge equine knowledge and access to leading international professionals in their respective fields of expertise, encompassing not only the Arabian horse, Arabian Dervatives, Warmbloods and FEI-level Dressage, but all breeds competing across disciplines from beginner to the highest level of equine sport. Mark your calendars for the first annual Mulawa Symposium: Saturday & Sunday, the 4th & 5th of October.

Exciting news from the World Equestrian Games in Normandy! MULAWA ANGELUS, an 11 year old gelding sired by Australian & Brazilian National Champion TS AL MALIK and out the invaluable Mulawa foundation mare M ANGELIQUE, competed under the flag of Thailand for owner Mr. Prutirat Rattanakul Serireongrith, with rider Wipawan Pawitayalarp in the saddle. At the finish, ANGELUS and Wipawan achieved an impressive Top 20 position in 14th place with a total riding time of 09:55:49.

Congratulations to HRH Prince Khaled bin Sultan bin AbdulAziz Al Saud on the success of KLASSICAL DREAM MI at the United Kingdom International Arabian Horse Show (UKIAHS) in Addington this weekend. Not only did DREAM score the highest marks amongst all the female entries at this all important ECAHO-rated A-show, she was named unanimous Champion Senior Mare from all five international judges. Best of luck to the entire Al Khalediah Team throughout the upcoming show seasons in Europe & the Middle East!

Our most enthusiastic congratulations to HRH Prince Abdullah bin Fahad Al Saud on the recent crowning of VALENTINO'S ANGEL MI as Canadian National Champion Mare! In a unanimous decision of five judges, VALENTINO'S ANGEL MI became the very first Australian-bred mare to earn the senior mare title of Canadian National Champion and one of the youngest ever at just one month shy of turning three years old. Thank you especially to Dr. Bruce McCrea for believing in ANGEL from the very beginning and for sharing her with the rest of the Arabian community worldwide at the elite level of competition. We wish HRH Prince Abdullah and Al Mohamadia continued success with ANGEL and years of enjoyment with this incredible mare.

Congratulations to Al Khalediah Stables & HRH Prince Khaled bbin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud! At the prestigious West Coast Cup in Belgium over the weekend, KLASSICAL DREAM MI was named Gold Champion Mare with Philippe Hosay. This was the second show for KLASSICAL DREAM MI, following her debut at Menton in June. Fresh from her arrival from North America by just four days, DREAM debuted in spectacular style by winning her class, defeating two former World Champions in the process. We are thrilled for DREAM's continued international success. Best of luck to HRH Prince Khaled and Al Khalediah as they enjoy further success with DREAM throughout the 2014 show season.

VALENTINO's ANGEL is proudly a fifth generation Mulawa-bred female from the celebrated dam family of M ANGELIQUE. Today in Menton, France, at the prestigious Mediterranean and Arab Countries Championships, KLASSICAL DREAM MI won the highly competitive class for Mares 4-7 Years of Age with an excellent score of 93.5! KLASSICAL DREAM MI is a former four-time undefeated East Coast Champion and the reigning unanimous Australian National Champion Mare. Congratulations are in order on multiple levels to Tegan Schmidt! For several months now, Tegan & her husband Aaron have been the proud owners of AJUSTINE MI, a beautiful daughter of Mulawa Aristocrat Mare AUDACIA and sired by international "Champion Maker" WH JUSTICE. Over the weekend, AJUSTINE captured the two most prestigious titles at the SAARABS Stars of the Future Show as Supreme Champion Purebred and Supreme Champion Youngstock Exhibit! Mulawa handler and head halter trainer Cameron Bonney was at the lead for both wins.

Mulawa has been privileged to host several of the leading judges, trainers, agents and equine professionals from around the world over the past few years. Scottsdale, World Cup & Menton Champion PRUSSIA MI added yet another accolade to his long list of titles as Gold Champion Junior Colt at the Bruges Arabian Horse Event! PRUSSIA is a fourth-generation Mulawa-bred champion who has carried the banner high for Mulawa and Australia in both North America & Europe over the past two show seasons. We wish HRH Prince Abdullah, Al Mohamadia manager Dr. Bruce McCrea & handler Philip Loyens continued success with PRUSSIA as he is campaigned to further acclaim in Europe and the Middle East!

Congratulations to the Mulawa Community horses who earned top honours at the Queensland Challenge this past weekend! We are especially proud of the success of PLATINUM MI, who scored his first big win for new owners Jack, Mona & Armani McKay. Congratulations also to Shannon Parry & Tahlia Christou on their first success with MULAWA INSPIRED on their very first outing together. Thank you to all the owners, exhibitors and trainers for campaigning the Mulawa horses with class and style.

Mulawa Team Performance is proud to report excellent results from the Sydney CDI! On the final day of competition on Saturday 03 May, Katharine Farrell and her German-import Arabian Warmblood gelding LUXOR 118 finished a credible 5th place in the Grand Prix Freestyle with a score of 68.225%. The other Mulawa team of MI SIRTAINLY SIR & Kristian Akehurst finished atop the leader board in both the first and second rounds of the HHSA - NSW Young Horse Championships in the field of four year olds. Congratulations to both Katharine & Kristian on these important achievements!
