MULAWA ASPEN started her saddle training in early 2007. She created a beautiful picture of feminine type & beautiful flowing movement, but later that year she sustained a paddock injury which required time spelling. ASPEN moved to our Hunter Valley property, Alabama, where she was put in foal to the handsome Warmblood stallion WELFENADEL. The result was a beautiful bay filly with elegance & flowing movement: her name reflected her quality - WORLD CLASS MI. After the result of her first foal, ASPEN was once again in the broodmare paddocks back in foal to WELFENADEL. She produced another outstanding filly called WILD THYME.
In July 2011, ASPEN returned to Mulawa Performance to begin her saddle career. She went to her first show only a few months later with wonderful results. At the Hunter Valley Spring Show, ASPEN won Champion Ridden Arabian Mare & Runner-up New Star of the show. In Novemeber at the National Stud Show, ASPEN went on to win Novice Mare Under Saddle.
In 2012 ASPEN once again attended the Hunter Valley Spring Show & claimed back-to-back Champion Arabian Ridden Mare titles.
