Member of the FASHIONISTA (DE) Family

Raised in the lush Southern Highlands of NSW by well-regarded sport horse breeders Sally and Luke Kean, MI Sirtainly Sir joined the Performance Team at Ambition in 2012.

Better known as “Andy” to all around the barn, MI Sirtainly Sir possesses a fantastic character and expresses a champion’s attitude when it comes to his training. He has become an iconic representative of the Mulawa team; excelling himself in the discipline of dressage.

By SIR DONNERHALL (DE) and from stunning mare FASHIONISTA (DE) – bred by the Kasselmann Family and imported by Sally and Luke – MI Sirtainly Sir descends from internationally celebrated bloodlines on both sides of his family tree (DONNERHALL, SANDRO HIT, FLORESTAN I and WELTMEYER).

MI Sirtainly Sir is equally gifted across all three paces and displays an excellent quality of movement throughout each gait. He has been awarded consistently high marks at competition, with his performance career to date featuring many notable achievements.

Ridden in 2014 by seasoned competitor Kristian Akehurst, MI Sirtainly Sir was awarded  the title of 4YO Champion Australian Young Dressage Horse at DJWTS. Under the guidance of Brett Parbery he won Medium Champion at the NSW State Dressage Championships, 2016, and in 2017 claimed a first-place finish in the FEI Prix St. Georges ‘Stars of the Future’ at the Australian Dressage Championships.

Now with Riley Alexander, MI Sirtainly Sir continues to accumulate tremendous accolades.

In 2018 MI Sirtainly Sir placed first in the Australian field of the FEI World Dressage Challenge (holding him in good stead to place a very close second in Zone 8 internationally). During 2019 he claimed multiple Small Tour Championship titles and is the current State Small Tour Champion, National Intermediate I and National Intermediate I Freestyle Champion. Later in the 2019 season MI Sirtainly Sir made his debut at Medium Tour, scoring above 72% in his first competitive Intermediate A.

These stellar results held MI Sirtainly Sir in good stead to receive honours from Equestrian NSW, who named him 2019 Dressage Horse of the Year.

As MI Sirtainly Sir continues to shine we eagerly anticipate a bright future ahead for many of the superstar prospects counted amongst his family at Mulawa Performance, including ABER FLORIAN MI, ABERDARE MI, ABER DIOR MI, DELILAH MI and HERCULES MI.
