MULAWA BRONZE WINGS | 2003-2018

23 November 2005 - 22 June 2018

It is with immense sadness that we share the news of the untimely passing of MULAWA BRONZE WINGS.

MULAWA BRONZE WINGS
23 November 2005 - 22 June 2018
Dark Chestnut Gelding
(Magnum Psyche x On Angels Wings by TS Al Malik)
Third-Generation Mulawa-Bred Supreme Champion
Member of the M ANGELIQUE Family

Arabian Ambassador Extraordinaire, BRONZE WINGS set the standard in the show ring as a Ridden Arabian Stallion and all-around athlete. A six-time Australian National Champion under saddle, he raised the bar as back-to-back East Coast Cup Champion as well as the dominant force at the National Stud Show in 2011, winning both the Baskhaan & Jess Greenhalgh Sashes, as well as Supreme Saddle Horse of the Show against all breeds. Post show career, BRONZE, as a gelding, became an integral part of Double Dan Horsemanship, showcasing the inherent intelligence & natural athleticism of the Arabian breed to the wider equine community as part of Dan Steer's entertaining & educational presentations.

For the last few wonderful years of his life, BRONZE WINGS has lived with Dan & his wife Pia on their property in rural NSW. It was here, late last week, that BRONZE was discovered in his paddock with with a fractured elbow. A thorough veterinary diagnosis revealed a grim prospect of recovery; reluctantly, the decision was made to lay BRONZE WINGS to rest.

Thank you BRONZE WINGS for giving us so many wonderful years of happiness & reward. We are incredibly proud to have shared in this journey with you, and thankful to the many extraordinary people & moments you have brought into our lives. Farewell - may your sweet spirit be carried on wings of well deserved peace & rest...
