KLASSICAL DREAM MI | Gold in Menton

Congratulations are once again in order to HRH Prince Khaled Bin Sultan Bin AbdulAziz Al Saud and Al Khalediah Stables. On Saturday, 13 June in Menton, France, at the prestigious Mediterranean and Arab Countries Championships, KLASSICAL DREAM MI won the highly competitive class for Mares 4-7 Years of Age for the second year in a row.

DREAM returned to the ring on Sunday with Philippe Hosay at the lead to claim her most prestigious victory to date: Gold Champion Senior Mare. Competing against both the Junior Champion Mare and Yearling Champion Filly, KLASSICAL DREAM was named Best in Show amongst all the female entries, sharing top honours with Best in Show Male HARIRY AL SHAQAB. Congratulations to the wonderful mares representing the highest international standard with whom DREAM competed at the show, including Senior Silver Champion NORMA (Poland), Senior Bronze Champion SALWA AL ZOBAIR (UAE), Gold Junior Champion DELIGHT'S DIVA RB (Brazil), and Gold Yearling Champion SULTANAT AL SHAQAB (Qatar).

Thus far in 2015, DREAM has competed at two ECAHO Title Shows: Dubai in March & Menton n June, winning winning her class and the Bronze Champion Senior Mare title at the former, and upgrading to Gold Champion & Best in Show at the latter. Since purchased by Al Khalediah Stables in January 2014, DREAM has been on a steady and purposeful ascension in the international show ring, winning East Coast (February) & unanimous National Champion Senior Mare (March) in Australia, before capturing her first international title in Las Vegas as World Cup Reserve Champion (April). After winning her class at Menton in her European debut one year ago, DREAM went on to win three successive Gold Championships: in Belgium at the West Coast Cup (July); at the UK International (August); and in Morocco at El Jadida (October). DREAM finished the year with her debut at Paris, finishing second in her class (behind the eventual Gold World Champion NAJDAH AL ZOBAIR) and earning the honour of World Champion Top Ten Senior Mare.

We are incredibly proud of all that DREAM has accomplished and continues to achieve on the world stage. Representing the Mulawa "Golden Cross" of KLASS with the daughters of MAGNUM FORTY FOUR and the blood of PADRON, DREAM embodies the best of the Mulawa breeding program. Her sire KLASS is an Australian Arabian Living Legend, as the only three-time successive Australian National Champion (Halter Stallion, Ridden Arabian Stallion & Working Stock Horse), a four-time East Coast Champion, and a leading sire of champions both at home and abroad. DREAM's dam, the incomparable MUSTANG'S MAGNUM, is one of the most valuable Mulawa broodmatrons, already an Aristocrat Dam of six champions at just ten years of age.

A special thank you to the entire Al Khalediah Team, especially Philippe Hosay & Mario Gallagher, for preparing, promoting and presenting DREAM with class, dignity and respect. Thank you to Sheikh Mutlaq Mashref Al Qahtani and Christine Jamar for believing in the power of a DREAM!
