A Lifetime of TRUST | TRUST MI ~ 2011-2018

14 November 2011 - 14 April 2018 It is with great sorrow that we share the news of the premature loss of TRUST MI. Injured in the paddock over the weekend, TRUST was unable to be saved. TRUST has been lovingly owned & stewarded by Tegan Harris & Aaron Schmidt since 2012. A NSW State Titles & Queensland Challenge Supreme Champion, as well as an Australian National, East Coast, National Stud Show & Sydney Royal Reserve Champion while in training with Team Mulawa, TRUST went on to be an indomitable force in the show ring in South Australia both in hand and under saddle. Named Supreme Champion Led & Ridden Arabian at the SA State Championships in 2017, TRUST was most recently victorious once again amongst

A Fond Adieu to AUDACIA | 2004-2018

29 August 2004 - 08 April 2018 An era has ended at Mulawa with the passing of AUDACIA, the most successful & beloved of the celebrated daughters of PARKVIEW AUDACIOUS. The product of his third foal crop, the deferentially named AUDACIA was destined to ensure his legacy within the breed worldwide would be both prolific & profound. Most famously revered as the dam of Mulawa super sire ALLEGIANCE MI, this excerpt from the arcticle Unwavering Allegiance (Studs & Stalions 2018) expounds on her importance within the Mulawa programme. “Born just after the New Year in 2009, ALLEGIANCE MI was the first foal born to his much admired dam AUDACIA, a former East Coast Champion Yearling Filly. Beloved as one of the

APPLAUSE | A Final Ovation

20 September 1981 – 04 September 2017 It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of a true Aussie Superstar - the wondrous APPLAUSE, who moved on to greener pastures yesterday at the grand age of thirty-six. As the last living son of Mulawa Foundation Sire AMBITION, the passing of APPLAUSE marks the closing of the final chapter of the earliest days of the Mulawa programme, which began over four decades ago with imports from the UK & the USA. Remembered fondly alongside three-quarter brother MULAWA THE QUEST, these two legendary sons of AMBITION did more to affirm the positive reputation of both Mulawa and the Polish Arabian in the performance arena than any pair of athletes in Australia.

MULAWA CHANCE | In Memoriam

17 November 1982 - 16 December 2015   This morning we bid farewell to our beloved MULAWA CHANCE. Born in November of 1982, CHANCE was foaled at the old Mulawa property where her sire, AMBITION, set in motion the direction and purpose of the Mulawa program. Tragically, AMBITION was lost prematurely, his legacy and influence left to his treasured daughters, with MULAWA CHANCE amongst his best and most prolific.   Not only was CHANCE the most celebrated of her sire's daughters, she was also the best produce of her esteemed dam, GROJECCA. Imported in-utero from the UK in the infancy of the Mulawa program, GROJECCA was a life-long favourite of Greg Farrell Sr. GROJECCA was in turn the dam of MULAWA THE QUEST, a consummate

A Tribute to MAGNUM FORTY FOUR

Rarely in life do all the elements converge to result in the best possible outcome. When they do, however, and those involved in the fortuitous events recognize and appreciate the synergy of circumstance and opportunity, the world is rewarded with uncommon success and achievement. The story of MAGNUM FORTY FOUR is one such positive convergence of humans and horses, filled with magnificent highs and desperate lows, spread across a decade and a half and magnificent locales on opposite sides of the globe. Born from the first foal crop of international icon Magnum Psyche in 1998 amidst the sun-drenched hills of Southern California, Magnum Forty Four was bred by North Arabians prior to the addition of his legendary

ADVENT | August 1985 - February 2013

It is with great sadness that we share the news on the passing of one of the most beloved members of our equine family - ADVENT. The gelding son of Mulawa foundation horses AMBITION and EUNI, ADVENT was a full brother to the late Mulawa sire ARRIVAL. Just shy of 28 years of age, ADVENT had served for the past 23 years of his happy existence as the personal mount of Greg Farrell. We thank you for being a truly wonderful horse and superb ambassador for your breed. Goodbye friend...

MAGNUM FORTY FOUR | 1998-2013

It is with great sadness that we share the tragic news of the premature passing of Mulawa chief sire MAGNUM FORTY FOUR. His time with all of us was far too short. MULAWA ARIA | 1993-2012

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of MULAWA ARIA . She was peacefully found in her paddock at Alabama on the morning of October 13th. A beloved daughter of invaluable foundation mare KARMAA, MULAWA ARIA was the second foal of her remarkable dam, and the oldest daughter to remain in the Mulawa breeding program throughout her breeding career. Her sire was ARRIVAL, the Mulawa-bred Pure Polish son of foundation pillars AMBITION (imported from the United States) and EUNI (bred in Poland and imported from Germany). While evoking the unmistakeable femininity and effusive quality of her dam, ARIA was most strongly influenced by her Polish heritage, possesing the strength, substance and athleticism
